Book Trailer Quick Tips
Think in Short Spurts
If you write too much, you will lose the audience
You don’t have to write on every slide
Blank=silence…let the images tell the story too
The most important text goes on the end slide
Use rhetoric questions
Use a cliffhanger ending, final image and/or transition
NEVER GIVE IT AWAY!!!!!
Choose music that sets the mood of the book
Spend time tweaking your video. This may take some time, but you will get a better result if you pay attention to the details.
You must cite your sources. Cite the sources as you find them and this will not be such a big chore at the end.
Use the following cites to help you find what you need. Remember: You MUST have permission to use images and music. Just because it is on the internet does not mean you can use it however you want.
