Our current cell phone policy for students which was approved by the Pearsall ISD Board of Trustees in July 2024 for the 2024-2025 school year, implemented the use of Yondr mobile phone security pouches on our Junior High and High School campuses.
We are looking to expand the Yondr program to our lower grade levels to comply with the state-mandated change. Pearsall ISD administration is currently reviewing the requirements of HB 1481 and are working to develop a plan that complies with the new law. More detailed information will be shared once an updated policy has been approved.

Lisa most recently served as a Principal Instructional Leadership Intern and 5th Grade teacher at East Central ISD, where she worked closely with campus leadership to strengthen Tier 1 instruction, guide MTSS implementation, and support teacher growth. Her prior leadership as ELA Department Lead at Pleasanton ISD led to an increase in STAAR performance through targeted instruction and collaboration.
Welcome to our Maverick family, Lisa!🤘🏻🟢⚪
