"With 21 years of experience in education, I’m incredibly honored and excited to join Pearsall ISD as the Special Education Director. This opportunity is not only a professional milestone but a deeply personal one, and I’m grateful to be part of a district committed to collaboration, progress, and student success. For the past 22 years, I’ve called Devine home, where I live with my husband and our two amazing sons. I’m thrilled to return to the close-knit spirit of small-town life and look forward to making a positive impact every single day in this new chapter."

"Hello Pearsall ISD community! It is my honor and privilege to join the district as the new Assistant Superintendent of Schools. My educational career has spanned 15 years, with the last 11 years having served as a campus administrator. Being born and raised in a small town, I have chosen to serve my whole career in rural south Texas school districts and I am excited to continue my service in Pearsall. The district is working hard in preparation for the upcoming school year and I am looking forward to connecting and building partnerships with the wonderful community of Pearsall!"

As we prepare for the upcoming 2025–26 school year, we want to make our Pearsall ISD community aware of a new state law that will impact all public schools across Texas. The Texas Legislature recently passed House Bill 1481, which requires school Board of Trustees to adopt policies prohibiting students from using personal wireless communication devices during instructional time.
Our current cell phone policy for students which was approved by the Pearsall ISD Board of Trustees in July 2024 for the 2024-2025 school year, implemented the use of Yondr mobile phone security pouches on our Junior High and High School campuses.
We are looking to expand the Yondr program to our lower grade levels to comply with the state-mandated change. Pearsall ISD administration is currently reviewing the requirements of HB 1481 and are working to develop a plan that complies with the new law. More detailed information will be shared once an updated policy has been approved.
